Reminds me of the Wyld, Weaver, Wyrm in the Werewolf the Apocalypse RPG. Except the Wyld created, the Weaver ordered, and the Wyrm Destroyed. Until things went pear shaped that is.

Oh, there are definitely parallels to make with the Wyld/Weaver/Wyrm triad... though they aren't perfectly 1:1. The Masons aren't very wild, notably.

It was a wonderful series and I shipped Riel and that alternate (?) Zin so much! And now this week just pointed out again how we'll never get to see those two together.

Yeah things would need to be shifted to line up but the triad and the link to creation and destruction are what made me draw the parallel.
