I noticed that in some mangas and other cartoons like the Flintstones, characters often close their eyes when they talk. I never understoond why. That's been a huge unexplained mystery of the universe since I've been young
And now Marelle does it...
So can you please explain it to me so that in the end I will be at peace when I die? _________________ Ïa Ïa Yergmat'k |

It's not just a manga thing, it's just how people sometimes close they're eyes when they're in of a laughy disposition ( ), either because of happiness or embarrassment, or trying to be friendly or whatever. At least in this case. There are tons of reasons to close one's eyes! _________________ Félix |

I get in trouble for doing this all the time. The thing is that I often need to concentrate on what I'm going to say, and closing my eyes stops me from being distracted. Otherwise I either stop halfway through a sentence, or it comes out as gibberish. |
